2001年度に開設された多摩美術大学大学院美術研究科博士課程は、本年度第18期の学位取得者を出すことになりました。本課程は、美術・デザインにおける創作と理論の両面において高度の素質を備えた人材の養成を目的としています。院生たちは絵画・デザインほか、それぞれの研究分野に取り組むとともに、相互の討議を通じて幅広い視野を養ってきました。その研鑽の成果を問うべく第18回博士課程展を開催します。

The Doctoral Degree Program of Tama Art University, established in 2001, will award degrees for the 18th time this year. The purpose of this program is to train its graduates to an advanced level both in practice and theory in art and design. The graduate students work in their respective fields, painting and design, but also develop a broad perspective through cross-disciplinary discussion. The 18th Doctoral Program Graduation Exhibition is held to make public the results of that inquiry.

新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により中止となった「博士課程展2020」に代わり、昨年度博士学位取得者の紹介展示も行います。

In place of the Doctoral Program Graduation Exhibition 2020, which was cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will also exhibit the works of the doctoral degree awardees of last year.
