Any educational institution should emphasize the acquisition
of professional skills that will enable students to respond to the demands
of society. This is certainly true of TAU, which provides practical instruction
in all major areas of art and design.
Without a broad understanding of the world, a student will be unable to
maximize his or her creative potential; for this reason, TAU offers a
comprehensive range of courses in art and design and the liberal arts.
The effectiveness of this practical and theoretical education is facilitated
by a small-class seminar system, which allows students to select from
a wide variety of courses and receive individual attention in their chosen
subjects.
The Faculty of Art and Design is composed of ten departments covering
the complete spectrum of art and design. Each department is complemented
by a variety of general education programs.
