1.2.Immigration Office Reviews Your ApplicationThe Immigration Office will review your CoE application. If approved, they will send the CoE to Tamabi by email. Companions such as parents, friends, or a spouse must arrange everything on their own. If Tamabi sees that support for the student would directly or indirectly help their companions (e.g., finding housing together), that support may also be denied.Tamabi Applies for Your Certificate of Eligibility (CoE)Based on your submitted documents, Tamabi will apply for your CoE at the Immigration Office in Japan on your behalf.CoE Sent to You by EmailTamabi will forward the CoE to your email address once received.You Apply for a Student VisaUse the CoE to apply for a Student Visa at the Japanese embassy or consulate in your home country. Additional documents may be required depending on your nationality and country of residence. Be sure to check the latest requirements on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.Filling Out the Visa Application FormIn the form, you will be asked for a “Guarantor or Reference in Japan” and “Inviter in Japan.” Please use the information sent to you by the International Exchange Center.Submit Your Visa application with a Copy of Admission LetterEven though it is not officially required, please include a copy of Admission Let-ter in your Visa application documents just in case.After Getting Your Student VisaOnce your Student Visa is issued, you are ready to come to Japan!!
