作家紹介

Shinwook Kimの「The Night Watch」は韓国の兵役に就いていた自分の不思議な経験からの記憶に基づいて、当時自分の記憶からの恐怖や雰囲気をイギリスの森で再現した作品である。本展覧会の「The Night Watch」は個人の体験や感覚の記憶から生み出されるものによって、鑑賞者から感じる初めての風景の不安や混乱させるイメージの中で作品と鑑賞者の関係を深めるきっかけになることだろう。
