気象警報発表時における授業取り扱いについて（Class Cancellation Policy During Weather Warnings）
本学では、気象警報、危険警報もしくは特別警報が発表された場合の授業の取り扱いについては、次のとおりとします。
In the event that a Warning, Level 4: Urgent Warning, or Level 5: Emergency Warning is issued, classes will be handled in accordance with the following policy.
対象となる気象警報
- 警報「暴⾵警報」「暴⾵雪警報」「⼤雪警報」のいずれか
- 危険警報「レベル4 ⼤⾬危険警報」
- 特別警報「レベル5 ⼤⾬特別警報」「暴⾵特別警報」「暴⾵雪特別警報」「⼤雪特別警報」のいずれか
学生の皆さんは、気象警報等が発表されているかどうかを以下の気象庁ウェブサイトでご確認ください。
対象地域
- 八王子キャンパス：多摩南部地域(八王子市)
- 上野毛キャンパス：東京23区⻄部地域(世田谷区)
授業取り扱い
午前の授業(1・2 時限)
- 午前6時現在、各キャンパスで定める対象地域が警報・危険警報・特別警報下にある場合は、1・2時限の授業を休講とします。
- 午前6時までに解除された場合は、平常どおり授業を行います。
午後の授業(3・4・5 時限)
- 午前11時現在、各キャンパスで定める対象地域が警報・危険警報・特別警報下にある場合は、3・4・5時限の授業を休講とします。
- 午前6時から午前11時までに解除された場合には、午後の授業を行います。
※事前に警報等被害が予想される場合には、本学Webサイト及び緊急連絡サイトにてお知らせする予定です。
※気象状況に伴い学生を安全に帰宅させる必要があると認めた場合は、上記規定にかかわらず、一部または全ての授業を休講とする場合があります。
※気象状況に伴い交通機関が不通等により通学できない場合は、その交通機関利用者に限り、「公欠」扱いとしますので、各鉄道会社のWebサイト等から取得・印刷した「遅延証明書」を添えて、後日所定の「公欠届」を教務課（美術学部事務室）に提出してください。運行ダイヤの乱れ等により遅刻した場合には、各鉄道会社のWebサイト等から可能な限り「遅延証明書」を取得（または画⾯を保存）し、直接授業担当教員に提⽰してください。
緊急連絡サイトについて
天候異変（台風、大雪）や地震等による休講情報など、緊急のお知らせを掲示するためのWebサイトを設置しています。このWebサイトはPCならびに携帯電話からでも閲覧できます。
- このWebサイトの掲示内容は全学的な緊急連絡に限り、個別的な連絡には使用しません。
Weather Warnings That May Result in Class Cancellation

- Emergency WarningLevel 5: Emergency Warning (Heavy Rain), Storm, Snowstorm, Heavy Snow
Students must check the Japan Meteorological Agency website to find out if weather warnings are in place. Please see below for weather warnings and emergency warnings in English.
Designated Area
- Hachioji Campus：Tama Nambu Region (Hachioji City)
- Kaminoge Campus：Tokyo 23 Wards West Region (Setagaya Ward)
Contingency Measures Due to Severe Weather
Classes in the mornings (1st and 2nd period)
- If the designated area for each campus is under a Warning, Urgent Warning, or Emergency Warning at 6 a.m., 1st and 2nd period classes will be cancelled.
- If the warning has cleared before 6 a.m., morning classes will run as usual.
Classes in the afternoons (3rd, 4th and 5th period)
- If the designated area for each campus is under a Warning, Urgent Warning, or Emergency Warning at 11 a.m., 3rd, 4th and 5th period classes will be cancelled.
- If the warning has cleared before 11 a.m., afternoon classes will run as usual.
※If hazardous weather or other emergencies are expected, announcements will be posted in the News section on the university website and on the Emergency Information Page.
※If the university determines that classes should be cancelled to ensure students’ safety due to weather conditions, some or all classes may be cancelled regardless of the above criteria.
※If you are unable to commute to the university because public transportation has been suspended or significantly disrupted due to weather conditions, your absence will be treated as an excused absence, provided that you use the affected transportation service. Please submit the designated Excused Absence Request Form to the Educational Affairs Section at a later date with a Delay Certificate obtained and printed from the relevant railway company’s website or equivalent source. If you are late due to train delays or other disruptions to public transportation services, please obtain a Delay Certificate from the relevant railway company’s website (or save a screenshot of the certificate) and present it directly to your course instructor.
Emergency Information
The university has established an Emergency Information Page to post urgent announcements, including class cancellation information, in the event of severe weather, such as typhoons and heavy snow, or earthquakes.
